Since 2017, the bilstein group has housed its impressive Clutch Competence Centre in Durmersheim, Germany, for all passenger car clutches offered by Blue Print.

The centre ensures Blue Print strives everyday to optimise processes and expand the range. As a result of extensive testing, Blue Print offer modern OE matching standards at every level.

Every part from the Competence Centre must meet the strict internal quality criteria, with all clutch components undergoing stringent quality tests. With the aid of automated measurement tools, all product dimensions are thoroughly checked to ensure they meet the most stringent tolerances.

Blue Print only supplies new parts in OE matching quality, setting the standards in quality from as early as the clutch development stage. Only high quality components are used in the manufacturing processes at our partner facilities. Clutch linings, diaphragm springs, torsion springs, washers, cover plates and cast parts are sourced from leading manufacturers.

Perfect Fitting Accuracy

Assisted by a measuring robot (Faro Gauge), all important dimensions are checked to an accuracy of one thousandth of a millimetre to ensure a perfect fit. This precise checking is not only used during the development of new products; it also forms an integral part of the incoming goods inspection.

Precise Test Methods

To ensure flawless function and excellent driving comfort, special testbeds are used for all clutch components. Measuring programs developed internally ensure adherence to tight tolerances. All clutch discs and clutch pressure plates pass durability and performance checks through in-house test benches to guarantee consistent quality.

For Blue Print, quality even extends to the box, with all clutches delivered in specially manufactured, sturdy packaging. Each clutch not only includes high performance grease for lubricating the connection between hub and transmission shaft, but also technical bulletins and instructions for quick, technically correct installation.
